Return & Refund Policy

All donations made to Torchit Foundation are voluntary contributions toward our charitable mission of supporting persons with disabilities.

Donations are considered final and non-refundable as they are immediately allocated to our ongoing programs and beneficiaries.

By making a donation, you acknowledge that your contribution is a voluntary act of support for our cause.

All donations are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (as applicable).

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, including:

• Technical errors resulting in duplicate transactions

• Unauthorized use of payment method

• Processing errors where funds were debited but donation was not recorded

• Accidental donations made in error (must be reported within 7 days)

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction date.

To request a refund, please contact us at impact@mytorchit.com with the following information:

• Full name and contact details

• Transaction ID and date of donation

• Amount donated

• Reason for refund request

• Supporting documentation (if applicable, such as bank statements showing duplicate charges)

All refund requests will be reviewed by our finance team within 7-10 business days.

Approved refunds will be processed within 15-20 business days from the date of approval.

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the donation.

For credit/debit card transactions, please allow 5-7 additional business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

For bank transfers and other payment methods, processing time may vary depending on your financial institution.

You will receive an email notification once the refund has been processed.

Donations made knowingly and voluntarily are non-refundable.

Tax receipts that have already been issued for claimed deductions cannot be refunded.

Donations made through third-party fundraising platforms may be subject to their respective refund policies.

Administrative or processing fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable.

Donations older than 30 days are typically considered final and non-refundable.

If you're dissatisfied with your donation experience but don't qualify for a refund, we offer alternatives:

• Transfer your donation to a different program or initiative within our foundation

• Convert your one-time donation to a recurring monthly commitment

• Designate your donation to a specific beneficiary or cause

We're committed to ensuring your contribution makes the impact you intended.

Torchit Foundation reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests based on merit and available documentation.

Fraudulent or abusive refund requests may result in the suspension of future donation privileges.

Changes to this refund policy will be updated on this page with the revision date.

This policy complies with applicable Indian laws and regulations governing charitable organizations.

For recurring donations, you may cancel future payments at any time, but past donations remain non-refundable.
